What is freemasonry?
Freemasonry is a system of morality veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols. It’s often spoken of as a secret society, but how secret is it if you’re reading this from your cell phone, laptop or personal computer? Rather, it’s a society with secrets. Many people are drawn to it because of the countless influential people that have been members, which ranges from Presidents to authors to astronauts and others. Many are drawn to conspiracy theories that have dominated pop culture. Ultimately, what draws you to Freemasonry only you know and will hopefully share with us. But, what keeps you coming back should you join might surprise you.
How can I join?
Every second Tuesday of the month, Hibiscus Lodge #275 meets. We have dinner from 6:30 pm to 7:30 when our meetings are scheduled to start. You’re more than welcomed to visit us, meet the members and talk to us about joining the Freemasons. We encourage prospective members to visit freemason lodges to see which one is right for them. Our mission is to “make good men better,” but it’s a journey that starts with you.
If you are visiting us for the first time, you will find below a map with the address to the Scottish Rite Temple (471 NW 3rd St, Miami, FL 33128).
Our official meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Dinner starts at 6:30pm.
