Concluding 2010: Updates and Well Wishes

Though I have one more month in the office of Worshipful Master, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has worked to help make this lodge grow as hit has this past year. I’ll save my final words for our next Craftsman but would like to take this opportunity to guide the new Worshipful Master into the new year with well wishes and my experience throughtout the year. I ask that any of us who seeks this office to ask themselves what they have to contribute to the lodge.

Charity is the word and when one phrases “Charity starts at home” understand that that Charity begins with your time. Taking this step allows you to focus the lodge’s light and illuminate the path for the year. Stay true to our traditions; it’s what makes us unique. Some new events have happened in the past month.

Entered Apprentice Degree
Following up our two previous classes of EAs for this year, SD:. Michael Araguez conducted the initiation of our third class of Entered Apprentice for this year. Congratulations to Brothers Kareem Zarwi, Kourney Brown, David Pinella, Eduardo Petriati, & Joscar Poerschke. Congrats to Br. Gustavo Lopez as he is one of our new catechism instructors.

Master Mason Proficiency Exam
In the month of December, many of our brothers, are taking upon themselves the exciting duty of the Master Mason Proficiency Exam. Upon completing it, the brothers are rewarded with a lambskin burial apron that they choose to be buried with when we move on to that Celestial Lodge. Join us for the Dec. Stated to support these brothers.

Happy Holidays
What an amazing year this has been. May the light of the GAOTU be with you all in this season and may you share this time with your loved ones. Brothers who have no family here in Miami, please contact me as we won’t leave you out of any festivities. May the new year bring you health, happiness and wisdom.
